You'll feel close to the sky, with valleys stretching out below. Everyday worries fade away as you immerse yourself in the snowy winter landscape. Sledding is an essential part of a winter vacation in the mountains. You can rent sleds directly at the ski school in the resort for a thrilling sled ride on the edge of the slopes or a leisurely stroll on the winter hiking trails.

We are often asked if cross-country skiing is possible at our resort. It is possible, but we do not recommend it. The area around the resort is high alpine and does not offer ideal conditions for cross-country skiing. So, we are being completely honest: Gerlitzen Alpe is not ideal for cross-country skiing.
For ski tourers, we recommend the beautiful and easy ski tour from the Klösterle valley station through the idyllic forest to the summit of Gerlitzen Alpe. Don't forget to purchase a piste tour ticket (€ 8.00) in advance!
